Chronarch MG50 on a Loomis IMX with 10 lb test line...  the 9 lber spun the basshound around twice before we could get it landed... not an hour later the guy I was fishign with landed a 12 lber *sigh*... that day I saw three fish over 9 pounds pulled out of that lake in less than 2 hours... it will be YEARS I am sure before I see something like that again..

a Shimano Cardiff with a Cabela's 7 ft tourney rod, both of which I no longer have because they both failed.  However I did catch a 7lb largie on it so I can't complain too much! ;D

21 inch 5.5 lb smallie caught with a shakespeare micro-graphite 7 ft light action, shimano tx1000 with 6lb stren and a brown gitzit tube.

In the past 3 years I have caught 3 bass about 7lbs each.

6 lb. 1oz. Smallie caught with a Sage 360 spinning rod and a Quantum QMD 20 spinning reel.  8 lb. test Berkley TriMax line and a tiny Big O in brown crawfish pattern.

5 lb. 14 oz. Largemouth caught on the same rod with a Quantum Kinetic PTi-A, size 30, and the same brand line.  6" red shad curly tail worm.

BPS Rick Clunn Signature Series 6' 6" MH fast Action rod with Rick Clunn Signature Series Bait Caster.  Using Power Pro 50lbs braided moss green line with BPS 4/0 offset worm hook and a 5" trick stick craw orange swirl.

First actual cast with it as well.

6'9" MXF St Croix legend tourney, Daiwa Tierra 2500, 2/10 power pro with an 8lb flouro leader. 20" smallie probably just over 4lbs and a 25" largemouth that went between 6 and 7 (post spawn) both fish (sm + lg) ironically caught using a skinny 4" tube.
