Super User burleytog Posted August 12, 2008 Super User Posted August 12, 2008 I have not seen any in stock, nor seen either of the wholesalers I deal with ship any yet. Pretty safe bet they will be quite scarce until mid-late September. Quote
Top Posted August 12, 2008 Author Posted August 12, 2008 well heck.. I was wanting to be the first on my block to get the New Curado... thanks for the info.. Mid September.. hmmm nice promotion present to myself AL Quote
Super User Muddy Posted August 12, 2008 Super User Posted August 12, 2008 Hey I got this 2 weeks ago from Cabelas: They are the featured reel on the back of the new Cabelas Fall Fishing catalog, on the back page, AVAILABLE 9/15/08. they are taking orders now They also have 3 pages of all the new 09 SHE-MAno reels in there also I do not use these products, so if someone wants my catalog I will mail it to them Dominick Quote
Super User Raul Posted August 12, 2008 Super User Posted August 12, 2008 In theory by mid September they will be available. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted August 12, 2008 Super User Posted August 12, 2008 A buddy of mine (Tackle shop owner) told me that mid to late October was a more realistic date. Falcon Quote

Top Posted August 18, 2008 Author Posted August 18, 2008 went to BPS today... the kid went and checked and told me that they should have some in about the 1-7th of September.... *sigh* grrrr sure wish the Shimano Fairy would throw on into my mail box hahahahah AL Quote
MARSH MASTER Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I almost bought one the other day at my local tackle shop he has them already. I will tell you on thing these reels blow away all the other curados in the past. The only reason I didn't buy it was becouse my wife was with me and I was already there to pickup the carrot stick I ordered. Quote
Top Posted August 18, 2008 Author Posted August 18, 2008 Thanks for rubbing it in RICHARD hahaha just messin... AL Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted August 18, 2008 Super User Posted August 18, 2008 I get mine Thursday. How do you like it? Is there a noticable difference from the previous model? Quote
-ebby- Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I saw a couple 200e's on ebay while looking for a 300d Quote
SawyerOB Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I'm not sure yet I don't get mine until this Thursday, but when I do get it I will be sure to let you all know. Quote
Super User Chris at Tech Posted August 18, 2008 Super User Posted August 18, 2008 Played with one at a local store today. They palm nice and certainly are smooth. Still not giving up my Revos for them just yet. And I don't care just how sacred the old green Curados were. There's just no reason to make a reel in ugly green, IMO. I considered getting the new green Curado and pairing it with a Carrot Stick for the hands-down ugliest combo ever assembled. Quote
Super User .RM. Posted August 18, 2008 Super User Posted August 18, 2008 Fisherman's Warehouse has them in stock. www.fishermanswarehouse.comAll are out of stock except the 200E7 :-? Quote
