There should be some great buys on the Legend Elite lin-up, too.

St. Croix introducced their new rods at ICAST a couple of weeks

ago. I expect to see a fire sale on some of the Shimano reels

shortly.

Great deals are on the horizon!

I've been salivating the last few weeks at the prospect of those beautiful brown LE's on sale.  If anyone gets wind, please post the source.

Man my truck would need to go into the shop when the rods I've been wanting to buy go on sale.

These guys had a huge allocation during the Avid liquidation last year.

I'm sure they will be the #1 player this year with the LE rods:

I remember that... back last winter

I got a nice AC70MHF for 40% off... couldn't really beat that

The newer split grip models, or the older full grip models?

I dont think he is talking about the 2008 LTB rods but rather the Legend elites. The LTB were just redesigned for this year and the new rods St croix revealed at ICAST were new legend elite models.

I am 99% sure that these were the older full grip LTB's. They were  blue LTB's for sure.
