Oh boy, after fishing with braided you are going to need keeping a close eye on the braking system, CXX is not exactly "limp" and in 15 lb test it 's even less limp.

I just did the opposite this season and went exclusively from 15lb CXX to braid on a one reel.  I like the braid but the CXX is going to cast mcuh better.  However you line memory is going to go up by about 4X worse than you can possibly imagine.  CXX is great line and will give you some great alternatives to braid.  But you must go out right now and buy some KVD Line and Lure conditioner. Spray it on the night before you go fishing and when you are done, and you will experience almost none of the drawbacks of CXX.

I was reluctant to switch from CXX b/c of all the upsides of this line despite the memory drawbacks.  Once I started using KVD Line and Lure all drawbacks were eliminated.

you can give your line a stretch and it will help w/ the memory as well.  tie on to something and back off and pull more line out than you can cast and just give it a good strecth....not close to the breaking point just a fair amount.  then reel back up and it will help alot.

Heres a tip.  Go to lake. Cast. Reel in. Cast. Reel in.  In other words, practice, practice, practice.

This is my go to line for T-Rigs. Has helped me to increase my hookups. I agree this line works much better with line conditioner.
