Super User Micro Posted May 24, 2008 Author Super User Posted May 24, 2008 The Toro looks like an all new reel. The frame is obviously different from the Revo. They look like two different reels. Quote
zzzzz Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Mahi Tackle has some more info on this new reel. Quote

Super User Micro Posted June 18, 2008 Author Super User Posted June 18, 2008 "Line out alarm?" Clearly a saltwater reel. Quote
Willzx225 Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Yeah I saw this reel in person and it is definitely not a bass reel. It comes equiped with the bait clicker and all. It looks great for big game applications. It is reel along the lines of Saltwater Penn reels but with a low profile. They are trying to redefine the saltwater market I would guess. Quote
zzzzz Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Mahi Tackle has the full line up for these new reels. Pre-order only. Quote
The_Natural Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 It is confirmed to be for saltwater use, granted it could be used for a swimbait reel. I think it looks very different from the stx, and not near as trick as the Citica with it's black anodized spool, handle, and drag 8-) Quote
