Del from philly Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Why don't you go to the top of the board and read the Senko thread under the "Important Topics" section. My young sir, you are kicking a dead horse. Senko fishing has been discussed so much on this board that most any regular who sees the word Senko will simply ignore the thread, let alone take the time to post photos. You have discovered nothing new and very few of us really care these days. I'm sorry to bust your bubble, but I will offer congratulations on your catch. Why is everybody giving this kid a hard time for? Take it easy.... cranky..... also, if this is such a dead topic, why did you take up the time to comment.....apparently it does interest you... also, if your gonna be rude to this young guy, than speak for yourself.....dont speak for others anyway, the kid is basicly saying that you can catch many different types of fish on senkos..i get what hes saying i dont have any pics....but iv pulled up many different types of fish on a senko.. Bass_Akwards Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I see where he wrote Senko style bait but Ummmmmmmmmm. What am I missing here? He makes a post about wanting to see pictures of fish caught on Senkos right? Then everyone gives the kid grief because of his post and his beating a dead horse with his pics of senko caught bass right? The post has Senko in the title and not YUM right? Then why were 8 of the kids first 9 photos of "Senko Fish" that he posted, caught with a freaking YUM brand soft plastic? Either I'm braindead, or something just isn't right here. :-/ Did you mean, pics of ANY soft plastic worm? t Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 29, 2007 Super User Posted October 29, 2007 www.*.com/pages.php?id=11Here's some pics (mostly from salt sticks) and wouldn't you know it RW, there is an 8lbs plus on a 4" stick! In Maine of all places. Can't be too many bigger bass than that in there! Small bait and a big fish.........must be the first time ever : b The point is NOT about smaller baits catching big bass, but all the little bass that get in the way. Bigger baits don't eliminate all the little fish, but they seem to discourage some. What I was trying to convey is that soft platistics are a very successful class of lures and after awhile, you might be catching too many fish. I don't want to catch little fish, so I upsized to a larger presentation. I catch fewer fish, but the average size is better. Quote

I added the bold. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted October 29, 2007 Author Super User Posted October 29, 2007 thank you tyrius. : yea i have a pack of 7" yum dingers and my dad has caught some pretty nice fish on those...i dont like them tho...but he has more patience than me (must be an old timey thing :) j/k. here are some fish he caught on the 7" worm, i think they were both around 18": that second one was a little bigger and that thing fought like no tomorrow. when he hooked it it fought for a little and then just hunkered down to the bottom. his rod was at a steady bend all the way to the middle and the line was dead still. I thought he was snagged but he insisted it was a fish. he wasnt doing anything and niether was the fish. it was like that for about 30seconds. then i grabbed his line with my finger and gave it a little tug and it tugged back HARD then the fish slowly tired out and was landed.
