Davis Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Been applying a dab of super glue on my palomar knots. Using it on 30lb power pro to help with any possible slippage. Will this damage my line? Just a thought that I was pondering while driving back down to work. Quote

Davis Posted June 12, 2008 Author Posted June 12, 2008 no it won't hurt.i do it all the time. Thanks. I do it all the time too. I make sure I wet down all my knots before cinching them tight. But this little extra step gives me peace of mind while fishing the trees and downed timber. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted June 12, 2008 Super User Posted June 12, 2008 I don't use super glue any more on any knots with braid, I don't use Power Pro either. The only time in the past that I did was to try to prevent the knot from slipping out of the hook eye gap and that didn't prevent it from happening after a few casts. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted June 12, 2008 Super User Posted June 12, 2008 I use a modified San Diego Jam knot on braid to bait and have never had any slipage. On braid to fluro leader I use the Alberto's knot. Neither one on them require any kind of glue. Quote
