Basslovers & ST Croix AVID owners I have to make a decision really fast. What is the best Spinning Reel for my ST Croix Avid  6'6" MH spinning rod. My options are the SYMETRE 2500, Pflueg-Supreme 8035, or the OKUMA Inspira isx 30. what to do what to do. I will use this set up for mostly plastic & some jigs.

I would go with the Shimano.

I put a Pflueger President 7035 on mine because I didn't have the money last year to put on a "higher end" reel. But for a cheaper alternative it feels great on the rod and does a very good job. Something to consider.

Can't go wrong with the Shimanos though. Learned that very quickly with there baitcasting lineup.

Shimano Symetre.  I have a few of them in 2500 size.  Built to take abuse and still run smooth.  I have them spooled with Yo Zuri #6 Ultra Soft and it's a nice match with my 6'8" Avid.

I ended up buying the STRADIC 3000FI reel for $130.00. I think i'm set till I get the bug again for a 7' foot M or MH spinning rod for all around fishing. any sugestions
