Muad Dib Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 how long are the handle lengths on the extremes. they look wicked long. not sure if i liike that? Quote
The Rooster Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 I don't know specifically how long they are but they are different for different lengths of rod though. The 6' length rod seemed to look like an average length handle to me, maybe 8 to 9 inches of rear grip length (guessing)?? The 6'6" rod looks like it gains at least 2 inches of handle though, which I'm not crazy about either. Quote
Super User .RM. Posted June 7, 2008 Super User Posted June 7, 2008 As a rod builder I have found most rack rods use the following rear grip lengths. 5'6" rods use pistol to 6" length. 6' to 6'6" rods use a 7" to 8" length. 7' and up rods use a 9" to 11" lengths. Just my .02¢ from the rod bench. Tight Lines! Quote
