b@ssman Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I am looking to purchase a flipping stick for around $100. Could you guys give me some recommendations? I would like a 7'6" and would prefer a telescopic type rod. Thanks Quote
Pencil Pusher Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Falcon Original Flippin' Special Telescopic: 7'6" and costs $90 - $100 depending on where you buy it. Quote
Super User South FLA Posted June 3, 2008 Super User Posted June 3, 2008 Take a look at the All Star ASR series specifically the ASR866C a 7'2" Fast Action Medium Heavy. Handled one the other day and it seemed like a very nice rod. I am sure you can get it for around $100 if not lower on the internet. Any forum members have some links for deals on ASR's? Another choice is the Kistler Graphite Plus KFS76 Flippin' Stick One Piece. If you want telescopic I think the Daiwa Light & Tough Frog Rod 7'4" is Telescopic and its about $120. Quote
Thefishy1 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 http://www.all-americanoutdoors.com/inc/sdetail/6130 thats for the ASRs, but they also have awesome deals on tons of other rods and reels with free shipping on lots of them Quote
Willzx225 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I would recommend the Crucial 7'6" flipping rod. It is a few dollars more than the 100 and not telescopic but I love the two that I have. ;D (So I guess of the criteria that you put out there we met one - being the flipping stick! haha) Quote
Olebiker Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I recently bought a BPS Bionic Blade flipping stick that I really like. I looked at a number of more expensive ones but couldn't justify paying a premium when this one does what I want. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted June 4, 2008 Super User Posted June 4, 2008 Fenwick HMX, or Shimano Compre both less than $100 Quote
The_Natural Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Fenwick HMX, or Shimano Compre both less than $100 +1 I'll recommend the Compre; I've owned several. Quote
