Super User senile1 Posted May 12, 2008 Super User Posted May 12, 2008 Raul, do my eyes deceive me or does that reel have a 200E7 designation on the side? Do you have any projected specs for this reel? Quote
Super User Raul Posted May 12, 2008 Author Super User Posted May 12, 2008 Yes it says 200E7 on the side; no, I don 't have more specs available. The pic was taken with a cell phone ( that 's why it has poor quality ). Let 's brainstorm a little on those numbers: 200: size E: possibly new consecutive letter code for the new model 7: gear ratio ? Quote
Super User .RM. Posted May 12, 2008 Super User Posted May 12, 2008 Just contacted Shimano®. "US factory we know nothing about it, and, the reel is probably a JDM" Keep on drooling...... Quote

Super User burleytog Posted May 12, 2008 Super User Posted May 12, 2008 Without a shadow of a doubt that is the new Citica. 200E would be the logical progression. Daddy like Quote
Super User senile1 Posted May 12, 2008 Super User Posted May 12, 2008 Yes, the only designation to speculate about is the 7. I hope it means 7 ounces. Quote
Super User David P Posted May 12, 2008 Super User Posted May 12, 2008 I hope the 7 means high speed! Quote
