prodigy1290 Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 I have one reel w/ 30# power pro for pretty much everything, another with 50# for frogging and spinner baits through tough cover and am debating what to put on my new reel? I want something light but now to light. What do you guys suggest, and what size line do you guys have on your setups. Quote

ArcticCat500 Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 is this a line that can be used for all purpose? Quote
ABC123 Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 I have 10lb on my light setup, I tried 6, but it didn't go well. I have 14lb on my medium setup, it works well too. I have 20lb on my MH crankbait rod that works well too. I have 20lb on my heavy rod too. Those are all, braids, and all specialized setups. IMO, 20lb braid is a good size. If you need to go to a light or non visible line, throw on a leader. If you want to use mono, 10-15lb would work well. No comment on spooling up Fluoro. Quote
DewittBassmaster Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I got 10 lb Berkley 100% Fluorocarbon on my bait caster. Casts great, no bruises and I am yet to have it snap. Great line. Quote
