I have the 6'9" MH Carrot Stix and love it for spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Basstrix style swimbaits.  I am in need of a Crankin rod for DD22's and DT16's and other deep crankbaits.  Does anyone have the 7'3" Carrot stix that they have used for these larger crankbaits?  I would think it would be perfect for the technique but wanted some feedback before pulling the trigger on it.

My 7'3" is my jig rod. If it were me I would want a rod with a little more bend to it because of the treble hooks. :-/

I think my 6'9" MH has a slower tip than most MH's so I was thinking the 7'3" would be similiar but I have yet to really see one to tell.  I typically like a rod with a lot of tip but for the bigger baits I want one with a little backbone to get the bait farther on a cast.

I have the 7'3 and I use it for jigs and worms.  When I first got it I threw some lipless cranks on it and it just felt weird.  It is too long and too stiff.
