Super User Jimzee Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 Just what the world nees; another expensive GYCB bait. Where can I get "em? Silk Worm, the only place I know of right now is eBay. Sometimes Gander Mountain and Academy have hard to find GYCB plastics. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 Very nice Got to pick some of these up. Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 These things have been out for a little over a year now but still haven't shown up in mainstream sales yet. I saw them in last Nov. issue of Lure magazine. They were using them as jig trailers on small finesse jigs like 1/32 oz. Quote
Super User Tin Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 If they make them in 3 or 4 inch, just nose hook them and use them as a dropshot bait. I'm sure atleast one smallie will find it irresistable. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted October 24, 2007 Super User Posted October 24, 2007 i think they look dumb. but then again, senkos look dumb too, but look what they turned out to be! what are they anyway? Quote
Triton9 Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 looks like a decent dropshot bait, i'll have to give those a try Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted October 25, 2007 Super User Posted October 25, 2007 I was born in the morning, but it wasn't this morning. guess this is the new Fat Slim Ika Grub Reaper Kuttail? (or did they just forget to shred the end of the bait for the ika?b (what will 'they' think of next?) ;D ;D ;D ;D Quote

If it wasn't for GYCB and his creations would you have a knockoff bait business? P.S. I thought I invented that lure. I ran over a Senko with my truck and it looks exactly like that. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 25, 2007 Super User Posted October 25, 2007 It's a Baby Piglet... When it grows arms, legs and antennas it becomes a Flappin' Hog! http://***/cgi-bin/order/FH-07 8-) Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted October 25, 2007 Super User Posted October 25, 2007 The Natural sent me a bag and I fished them last weekend as a trailer on a 1/2 oz Micro Munch jig. I caught five bass. I would rate them a "Dead Solid Ten." Quote

I would rate them a "Dead Solid Ten." Nice- I have been doing a lot of jig fishing myself and experimenting with trailers- gotta give them a try. I read somewhere how Natural really liked them. They look really good. So far I have been having my best luck with a eakins 3/8oz and a reaction innovations smallie beaver as a trailer- Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 25, 2007 Super User Posted October 25, 2007 The GYCB Kreature has been a killer for me. As a trailer, the Flappin' Hog is VERY similar, but bigger. I have also had some success with the Reaction Innovations Double-Wide Beaver which is a HUGE presentation. When it gets colder I might go back to GYCB Fat Baby Craws, but they are retired for now!
