Autiger24 Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 I was just wondering how you guys thought the carrot stix fished compared to other rods in its price range such as a loomis or shimano? Quote

Bass XL Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Just go back a few pages...There are many posts about them. Or you can do a search. Quote
Pond Hopper Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Lightweight, sensitive, and reasonably priced. Also looks dang good with a Revo SX. I have some Avids at a similar price point and would say so far the Carrot Stick is the better rod. Don't shoot me though Quote

Don't shoot me though I would have to disagree - I have a couple of avids and a carrot stix and i prefer the st. croix's. That's all it is though, my preference. The carrot stix is a great rod too. flippin4it. Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 The Carrot is a great handling rod. Light and sensitive. Those that hate it, never owned it. Quote
Super User Tin Posted May 17, 2008 Super User Posted May 17, 2008 There is no comparison, it is like fishing with a broom handle, then to a feather. Quote
=Matt 5.0= Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 Gimmick rods. I'm the only one allowed to say that. Quote
