No way Biz, I got you all beat! When you have to have a seperate builiding just for your fishing gear becasue the spare bedroom that used to be your designated fishing room is now too small. When all you do all year long is make more baits but hardley ever fish them. And my favorite.. when you own probably 10,000 diferent baits but you only fish 15 of those with any regularity!

SCNEARIO ONE: You keep the cork handles on your rods, spotless so the ol lady can't figure out if there a new one on your rod rack ::P

SCENARIO TWO: (my MO) every 2 or 3 years you change all your hardbaits cause " Im going to all wooden hard baits then 2 years later, Im going to all plastic hard baits;. Maybe someday I will say Im gonna stick by what works the most some plastic hard baits and some wooden ones DDOOHHHH!!!!! ;D

My wife has zero interest in fishing or my fishing gear. I doubt if she knows the difference in a rod verses a reel! So, I keep my stuff in a little room off the garage and NEVER flaunt anything that I buy. My policy is "No see, no tell."

+1 to this.  After coming home from the tackle shop and getting some sweet deals, I tried telling my girlfriend about the steals that I got, and she used my own trick against me.  All guys know this trick, it's the "pretend to pay attention, nod your head, say uh huh, while still watching tv trying not to be to inconsiderate to you" trick.  So I now don't bother anymore.

When you get a $60 gift card from Dicks for your Scorecard Rewards points

When you offer to pay for things with your Cabala's credit card so you can get more points, which makes less than zero sense.

When anytime you feel a little down, you go buy lures you absolutely don't need and may not even use, and it makes you feel better.

Yes...that is my plastic backstock.  The Plano 3.5" deep 3741's work nicely for storage, and you can squeeze 20-30bags in each.  The rubbermaid tubs will hold a lot more, but you can't readily see what you are looking for, and have to dig...disturbing your organization.

When you cant even wait to get home or on the water to open the new packages up and play with your new toys. My girlfriend yells at me for doing this while driving, tells me to at least wait til I get a red light.

Just curious, any one else do this??

I believe some of you guys need to grow a pair... :-X

Lol that's why so many dudes are divorced in this country.

We smart men learn that a secret to a good marriage is to keep the wife happy.  ;D     :'(
