By the by, hybrid line and copolymer line are one and the same,

any blend of nylon and fluorocarbon.

P Line's Floroclear 10 or 12# for cranks.  Sinks almost as good as 100% flouro, costs 1/2 as much, and gives a little which is ideal for cranking so the fish can hook themselves.  Have had zero pull outs on any fish this season with it.  Love it.

20 lb. PowerPro Braid with a short P-Line CXX leader (for abrasion against rocks and crank lips).

I don't get the whole "stretchy" line thing for cranks.....especially deep cranks.  I want to know exactly what that bait is doing at all times.

Even David Fritts uses the lowest stretch mono's he can.

20' diving crankbait + 100' cast + stretchy mono = MUSH.    :)

I have two crankbait rods. Both are spooled with 10# test, but one I have spooled with XPS fluro and the other with Berkley Sensation.

Mono for cranks, specifically Trilene Big Game. I like being able to buy the bigger spools of it and not spend an arm and a leg. Never had a problem with it so why change?
