This may have been posted before, but has any of you fished this line and is it any good? And what kind of baits do you fish it on?  I don't like Fireline but I was thinking about trying this Crystal!

i have it strung up on my baitcaster...havent had any luck...did hook one fish but he jumped and thru the hook...it looks like to me the fish would beable to see it in the water but its spose to be translucent...only bought it cause it had a sticker that said voted best line..that kinda stuff always gets me  :)

I've used it quite a bit on spinning outfits. I like the line but it looks white in the water - not so much so in the 10 lb size. It casts well and is strong but I've started using a leader with it.

Looks white in the water.  I prefer Suffix, but didtn't have any real problems with the Crystal.

My buddy used it on a redfishing trip we went on in March. The water was very muddy and you could see his line several feet underwater. I was not impressed. But I also hate fireline so I may be biased.

I can't say I've ever heard anything positive about Crystal.  When it first came out, I immediately thought I had found the end-all for tip-up leaders....quite a few fishermen I trust pointed me in a different direction very quickly.

On paper it sounds like a fantastic leader for tip-ups: a tuff line that is difficult for sluggish winter fish to spot.  I guess it's back to the drawing board; great ideas to go on though.
