Berkley Power Bait Shaky Worms on a Spot Remover head. That worm has put a whole bunch of fish in the boat this year.

I have also been using the Gambler Giggy Stick a little bit lately.....the last 75% of the worm is hollow which helps it to float up off the bottom no matter what head you use. Plus it has the tassel tail which gives the fish a little something different to look at. They just came out with a bigger version of the Giggy Stick but I cant remember what its called....it should be a killer as well.

Am I the only one who prefers senko style baits on a shakey head?  These work great in winter conditions because it's an easy "fat" meal where as a finesse worm just doesn't look worth chasing to a bass.  I've caught bass on both finesse worms and senko style worms on shakey heads but the senko produces all year long.

I can see where a trick worm has tons of action compared to the senko.  I'll give it a shot in a few weeks.  I bet a watermelon candy or a plum color will be a great follow up bait in shallow water.

I didn't know you could shakey head in the south  :P.  Just kidding...I saw KVD use a shakey head to catch the lake Lewisville record (now broken), but to be honest...I can count on one hand how many times I've thrown a shakey head.  When the technique became hot...I bought a 'Croix Avid 6'9" drop-shot/shakey rod...and I finally blew off the dust and sold it this month.  I just had to realize I'm a power fisherman.  I do like the way the trickworm stands up on a spot remover...I know it works; I just haven't been in enough situations to utilize it myself  :)
