What pound of line do you recromend for a all-around baitcaster?

I'd say #12 or #14.  But it depends on where you fish... an all around line for those who fish Fork is #20, while an all around line for places with little cover may be #10.  

FWIW, I have always used #14 as my general purpose line.  (#14 XT)
