Chad. Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 I see and I agree with you too, but they do have some good tackle knowledge. Quote
lubina Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 They care more about the tackle than the act of fishing. I respect people that have done better and a hell of more than me....Cal, Zander, ChuckE and mhood are on my list!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Quote
GAMEOVER Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 I agree, they (TT crew) know their stuff. Back on topic though. Hot sauce is the best domestic grease and oil imo. I tried Ardent in my Zillion but didnt care for it. I really like the Daiwa special Red oil and Friction Zero as well. However I just use Hot Sauce in all my reels including me Steez. It adheres well and lasts long. One drop per bearing is all you need any more can actually hinder performance expecially on ceramics. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted April 7, 2008 Super User Posted April 7, 2008 I think I'll listen to David Green and stick with the Reel Mechanic's advise. If he says Hot Sauce sucks, that's good enough for me. David services my reels (cleaning lubrication and internal grease) and for exterior lubrication, I use his oil only. 8-) Quote
