I  would spend another 10 bucks they also have thier Extreme rods on sale. While both rods are good the Extreme is a much better rod.

Hey everyone...long time reader, first time poster.

As an owner of just about every Bass Pro Rod, I would say go for the Extreme.  I own the 7' MH in both rods and the Extreme is quite a bit lighter and more sensitive.  Much better buy.

I have 5 Extreme series rods and IMO they are the best bang for the buck around! I use them for everything from drop shotting to redfishing. I have 2 7' M spinners, 2 7MH bc, and 1 6'6" bc.

You can't go wrong with them.
