Bassackward Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 What do you consider the best line for froggin. I was thinking about switching to fluoro, but the In-Fisherman that i just got in the mail said absolutely no fluoro on topwaters. Dont really know why......anyways Im wondering if i should stick to the mono or go to braid? Just affraid 30lb braid in open water will be too visible. Opinions? Quote
Brad_Coovert Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Ditto on the heavy braid. The majority of froggin' is in heavy vegetation and nothing cuts grass and weeds like braid. Brad Quote
Super User Alpster Posted March 31, 2008 Super User Posted March 31, 2008 50 or 65 lb braid, hands down X3 Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted March 31, 2008 Super User Posted March 31, 2008 No flouro--- because it sinks. You don't want a sinking line when fishing topwater. Quote
Infidel. Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 I like 50lb P-line braid. Used to use Power Pro but the P-line seems to be more abrasion resistent. Quote
strick9 Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 I too like the 50lb P-line braid or 50 lb Power Pro also. Quote
