I would like to know some feedback on the XPS Flourocarbon as far as knot strength, durability in structure as well as amount of stretch compared to other flourocarbon lines.

I appreciate any and all information that you can give me.

Thanks.

The line is actually Toray. I don't fish it, but have heard excellent reports.

The question I have is how manageable the line actually is on spinning gear?

I used to use XPS line until I made the switch to PLine. I have no complaints with the XPS flurocarbon, I just personally like the Pline 8lb test and use it on my crankbait reel. My other baitcasters I use YoZuri hybid or Pline CXX.

To answer RW question about managemnt on spinning gear, I have had no problems with the XPS fluorocarbon 6 & 8lb test. I used this on my spinning tackle for 3 years and had good results with the line with minimal line twist. I rarely pull out the spinning gear these days unless I want to use a Zoom Trick worm or head out to the local pond.

This is just based off my experiences with the line. I hope this helps.

I don't intend to highjack the thread. I just didn't want to start another XPS flouro thread. I put the 10 lb on my crankait rod and was wonering if I could use it on everything besides my top water setups. Could I go with it on my spinnerbait rod and my t-rig rod? If so should I go 12 on sp, and 14 on t-rig?

Thanks, JB

Not impressed so far with it on my Daiwa Sol spinning reel. I bought the 8# and 17#. The 17# is on the Revo, which backlashed so bad today that I had to cut it all off when I got home. (most likely user error)

The 8# is very wiry. Tons of memory as well..... Maybe it was the 45* weather...

Seems to have incredible knot strength tho. First cast with a 3/4 football jig, it gets hung and I could not pull it out. I had only tied an improved clinch and it would not pull through.

Going back to Yo Zuri asap.... ;)

RW, I have used the XPS fluorocarbon line as well as YoZuri ultra soft.  I use the XPS for drop shot (4 and 6 pound test) and shakey head (8 pound test).  It is less manageable in all three than Ultra Soft.  Acceptable, but not as manageable.  The YoZuri holds knots much better as well.  All the line weights above were on spinning gear - mostly Shimano Stradics and Sustains in sizes 2000 or 2500 (what other reels are there!!).  Especially for casting presentations, I would favor the Ultra Soft.  The abovementioned presentations do not require much in the way of casting as you well know.
