Hey, I own a few of the BPS IM6's and they are great in MH. For around $20, you can't go wrong.  I have no experience w/ the Cabela's rod but hey BPS offers an IM7 rod for $10 more than the IM6.

I'm sure somebody that's dumb will chime in with suggestions for a different rod that is out of your price range and original question.....wait for it......WAIT fooooorrrr iiitttttttt........

I don't have a price range; I asked because. I was going to pick up a Diawa XiA...

I figured why not get a combo if the rod in the combo was actually worth getting..

Both sites have them and I wasn't sure if I was to get a combo which was better.

Thank you both

I think it really depends on how you plan on using the rods.  For instance, I would use the IM7 rod (generally more sensative) for jig and worm fishing.  I would in turn use the IM6 (less sensative, but more flex) rod for light crank baits and maybe small spinnerbaits.

That's some excellent advice right there. x2
