Looking to buy a low profile baitcaster, but don't want to spend more than about $80.   I'm not a beginner to baitcasters, so it doesn't have to be a beginner reel.     Another thing, I like my reels to be small so I can palm it. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I know you said 80$ but if you could save 20$ more you could get an Abu Revo S. I think Shimano still has a rebate on their Citica that you could get for 90$. If you dont want to spend more than 80$ then heres something to look at. A few weeks ago some guys were talking about how good the Abu Garcia Promax was and its priced at 75$. Heres a link to the page. Good luck.

I haven't seen one of those for sale in almost 6 months.

If you're dead set on limiting yourself to $80, get a Garcia ProMax.  If you can come up with $20 more, a Revo S.

If you feel like waiting, a Citca 100DSV for $120 - the $30 rebate.
