low_pro Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 The trilene knot seems to work well with about 3-4 twists. I use it for 17lb. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted February 14, 2008 Super User Posted February 14, 2008 Practice tying a San Diego Jam Knot. It's strong, pretty and I think you'll like it. 8-) Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted February 14, 2008 Super User Posted February 14, 2008 The uni-knot (6 turns) works for me, I use 20# fluorocarbon on lots of my rigs. Quote

sodaksker Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I just finished watching "Bass Edge", The past two episodes they have been having knot wars. The palomar knot has yet to be defeated. This week it beat the "trilene" knot, I can't remember what knot it beat last week. The knots seem to work fairly even on mono but, when they go to braid, the palomar edges them out. Quote
