cannibass Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I just found a clarus rod in my garage. It's a 6' medium power fast action. I was wondering what applications could it be used for? Quote
ghost Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Is it spinning or baitcasting? If spinning, it would be great for skipping lures under docks. If baitcast, if you are fishing an area where you have limited room to cast, would work too w/ the spinning rod. Quote
alger319 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 i use my 6' med 'casting' for pitchin small cranks under docks. a spinning -good for vert. drop-shot or skippin docks Quote
Jeff_NHBA Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Man, I wish I had a Clarus just lying around... Of course, I'd have to go out and buy another reel... That's a great rod for fishing weightless plastics around docks. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted February 8, 2008 Super User Posted February 8, 2008 Skipping docks is exactly what I would do with it as well. Also would be a good rod for shore/wade fishing creeks were space to cast can be tight. Quote
