sal669 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Depends what will you be using it for ... See Roadwarrior's article about rod's power & action, and rephraze your question, please. Quote
skillet Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Really would be better with little more info. Budget comes to mind. I've tried to wait till Bass Pro has it's sale in the Spring. Got 2 Bionic Blades. One year $40 and then $50 the next. There are better rods out there but not for that price.IMHO ... As Ever, skillet Quote
JayW Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 There are a lot of "good" rods out there... some better than others. They will all catch fish... it's mostly personal preference! Just look for one with a good reputation and warranty! Quote
Super User FishTank Posted February 6, 2008 Super User Posted February 6, 2008 To me, a good rod is one that fits my needs. It must balance well with my reel and be apropriate for the type of lure and line I'm using. In general, I like a 6'6" or 7' rod MH with a fast, but a little soft, tip on a casting rod and on spinning rod I like a 6'6'' M fast to x-fast. What exactly are going to use it for and how much do you want to spend? More info is needed............ Quote
