largemouthslayer Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Ok don't want to repeat the earlier topic but 20 years ago i was 16 and bass fished every day all I fished was Rattle Traps , Culprit worms , Spinnerbait , and topwater Rapala's and caught so many fish ....Now Raul sent out Rapala's new lure and I'm on my way to Dick's this afternoon to see if they have any(hope not) (hope so) (hope not) see what the bait monkey does,so it got me thinking what if I went back to just 4 lures like when I was young and poor. But if you had to choose 4 lures to fish year around WHAT WOULD THEY BE? 5" Senko Lucky Craft (pearl Ieu pointer) Spinnerbait Jig and trailer Quote

detroit1 Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Who could limit themselves to just 4 baits? Well, my dad could. Although he has passed away, i still hear him telling me to tie on a plow jockey every time i get out on the lake. (a pre-rigged 6" straight-tailed worm) These days, i guess a white 3/8 oz. spnrb8, a 1/16 oz. jighead pushed inside a white/blk. flake Bitsy tube, a Bandit flat maxx (deep) in perch, and a 3" berkley minnow on a dropshot.
