I also have a C4 that was upgraded to C5 and the gears changed to 5.1. I use them for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and Carolina rigging. I just did not like the higher gear ratio in that mfg. reel. I prefer the 4000 size reels over the 5000 size for bass fishing. Quote
