Super User flechero Posted January 11, 2008 Super User Posted January 11, 2008 Have any of you used Bait N' Hook? The reel prices appear "to good to be true." http://www.baitnhook.net/ Any of the NJ people know them? Baitnhook 14 Jamie Drive Sewell ,NJ 08080 Quote
mattm Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I don't know if they are real, but they have Curados for 160. I just got them for 150 from Simmons Sporting Goods. So it is possible. Quote
SpringCantComeSoonEnough Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I've never heard of them. I'm in northern NJ, btw. Quote
ABC123 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Well, they don't sell Loomis rods, so they could be out to sell items that they can openly discount, in order to build a volume oriented business. But that is only speculation. I don't think their prices are that great. But they are better than some sale prices I've seen. 10-15% markdown is kind of a standard "sale" price on a lot of midrange priced reels. Quote
Super User David P Posted January 11, 2008 Super User Posted January 11, 2008 I see curados for $150 most places. Not that great, just average. I'd assume they're legit. I wish they had a better rod selection. Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted January 11, 2008 Super User Posted January 11, 2008 Seems like a good price on the Abu Premier - $199.99. I don't follow Abu much, is that a good price?. Quote
Super User flechero Posted January 11, 2008 Author Super User Posted January 11, 2008 I guess I haven't noticed other places with Curados and Premiers for $50 off. Anyone care to share the "reputable" places you guys are seeing these deals? Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 11, 2008 Super User Posted January 11, 2008 Seems like a good price on the Abu Premier - $199.99. I don't follow Abu much, is that a good price?. Ya, everyone sells them for 250-260. Quote
mattm Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Flechero, Simmons sporting goods sales curados for $150.00. I spoke with Peter when I called. Very helpful. There online store has several great prices. They are a lot closer to us than NJ. Should have your order in 2-3 days. Quote
The_Natural Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 If you can score a few of the Shimano $50 mail in rebates...you could have some Curado's for $100....Hmmmmm. :-? Quote

mattm Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Call and ask Peter if the 149 Curado's are eligilble for rebate. He will be honest with you. Quote
