Reel Rebates at Cabelas

I saw this and I had to share it with the forum. I'm new to baitcasters, but I have heard the names Curado and Citica. Cabela's is offering $30-50 rebates with the purchase of these reels.

That's a great deal, but it's not just Cabela's. The "sale" is a Shimano supported mail-in rebate program. The rebates apply for all distributors.

Delos has a better deal. Delos will ship the citca for free to your residence and it is 70$ after the sale + the rebate.

Delo's sure has some good prices, and free shipping.  I have been contemplating getting a Curado, and just may pull the trigger.  Has anyone seen them any cheaper than 179.99 shipped?

Yeah my initial post may have been a little confusing.  Has anyone seen them cheaper than 179.99 shipped before the 50 dollar rebate.  I dont really know why i am asking this, if there is a cheaper price, i am sure it would have been posted.

Thanks for the heads up.  I just saved myself 40 bucks by going to Delos.  Was going to wait till Feb but 40 dollars is 40 dollars.

If you have a Cabelas close by and have their Cabelas Visa, they'll take $50 off a $200 purchase for using their Visa card till the 24th of Dec. That combined with the $50 Shimano rebate comes out to be a $100 Curado. They give offers like this about three of four times a year for their Visa card holders and I take advantage of them everytime...then I come home and pay them off online.

I just bought a 100 citica from delos for 100.00 free shipped then send in the 30.00 rebate which brings it to 70.00 which will go on a falcon cara on sale from bps for 79.00 in medium action, when i have someone that wants to go fishing but never has! ::)I'll just crank the cast control to keep backlashes to a minimum! ;D

Well, I don't like to say anything bad about a sponsor, but I am still waiting for a LC Pointer 128 that I ordered maybe 8 months ago.
