I need some suggestions for finesse baitcaster's.  Something for lures in the 1/8 to3/8 range.  I am looking at the BPS pro lite finesse and those ratings are in my range.

Can anyone suggest a reel with these qualifications that is slightly higher end than the pro lite?

Thanks in advance.

I can throw finesse worms T-rigged with 1/8oz weights easily with a Curado 100d. The shallow spool makes all the difference in the world. I also have a Citica 100dsv with a 50mg spool and it casts very well.

Like Raul said, the Sol and 50mg would work very well.  If that is out of your price range, then try the Curado 100d like Anthony said.  I own one and absolutely love it.  It casts a weightless trick worm extremely well.

exactly my 2 suggestions Raul but I think he wants to keep it around $150-180 tops

Well, in the spirit of Low_Budget_Hookerness, then go to Delo 's site and purchase a Curado 100 with the Shimano mail-in rebate you get it for about $130.

Won 't find any deal better than that one.  :)

Pflueger has the new Cetina's. Though only the high speed has been released, I have a feeling they have a 6.2:1 coming out too. With the 7.1 having 28 inches of line pick up, it is closer inline with most 6.2's. The Cetina has about the same line capacity as the Daiwa Sol, Alpha, Shimano Cronarch 50, ect...

On a side note, I was in Sportsman warehouse this past weekend and the Sol's and Fuego's were still marked down, but they did not have more in stock. You could go to their website and use the store locator to find stores that might still have what you want. They do have free shipping if you spend so much. I don't know what the minimum is, I spent $300+.

I bought a BPS Prolite finesse combo last year and I like it just fine. I cast well using a 1/8 oz jig with a small grub on 12# line. This year I will respool with 8# line. It will cast a 3/8 oz. lure like a rocket. I have to many BC outfits if that is possible including a Curado, some Quantums and Daiwa's and I like the BPS PLF as well or better although I use the others for other methods.

If you are an experienced bait caster you should have no trouble if your aren't experienced you will go through your share of backlashes.
