New TD- pro at BPS

Has anyone heard anything about the new TD-pro available at BPS?  I might be very interested in this reel since Academy no longer carries the TD-A 153HSTA I had my heart set on with Christmas giftcards.

I would have suggested calling your local BPS but when I tried no one came to the phone.  I guess they were busy in the fishing department.

Have you tried their on-line catalog?

Sorry, but it looks like you will just have to call and stay on hold unless you can drive to a BPS or get lucky and have someone answer the fishing department's phone.

I see it online for $119. What I am looking for is someone who has held it or fished with it to give a review.  I was going to get the TD-advantage at Academy but was going to have to settle for a curado 100d or Revo SX since academy doesn't sell the TD-A anymore.I saw the TD-pro this morning at BPS.com.  My only places to shop are academy and BPS

I am very interested in this reel, it looks to me to be based on the new Exceler reel, which, sadly replaced the Procaster 100H series, a favorite line of reels for me. Even though this reel is new, it is a BPS exclusive, which means it WILL be on sale often, do not EVER pay full retail for it. I will buy one when the are on sale.

The Academy's in Houston have the new TD-Advantage. I was looking at it last week.

I've got last years TD-A and it is a great reel. The new version is really sweet, at least it feels that way at the counter.

I too am going to get one with Christmas gift cards.
