I just picked up the Legend Elite ES63MXF. Should work well for Shakey/weightless plastic and smaller jerkbaits.

Now I have to keep an eye open for this type of deal on the discontinued Stella.  ;D ;D

Reed's has had these liquidation sales before. I think they may have a deal with St. Croix, otherwise they wouldn't stock so many or be able to discount the entire stock so dramatically. However, the Avids, or at least this series, are being discontiued. So, chances are, when they are out, that's it!

Right now I'm fishing almost all Falcon Cara's and Lowriders. Does anyone have any experience as to how these St. Croix's compare?  I'm thinking about getting a few more.  big

When you visit Reed's site today you're going to be amazed at how many rods have already sold out or have been removed from the sale. I suppose they hold a few back and try to get full price for them, but MAN!, that deal is hot.

I just bought an Avid Spinning Rod AS69MLXF for $96 ... 15 minutes after I ordered it and got my confirmation, went back and they had taken the sale off and they are now $160. 15 minutes saved me almost $70!!

I just added a TBC70HF to the arsenal. Also, to add to previous posts, the sales person I spoke with said, as the rods came in, they would be adding more to the sale soon. Sounds like you can keep an eye out for more rods to be available soon (no time frame provided or estimate of when the rods would be available).

I just checked the site and it appears that there is no longer free shipping.  Or did i just miss something.  I added a rod and did calculate shipping and it comes up 10.95.

They changed the sale on St.Croix..... They were 40% off for avids, now you have to buy 3 to get 40% off.Just one rod is 20% off. Also the Elites were $198. now they are showing for $260? Glad I got in Tuesday on the Elite series. Anyone else notice the price change? I double checked my email to look at the invoice and the elite series were $198. Might have been an error on the website?

Yep.  I think the sale is over!  They are now only 20% off unless you buy 3 or more.  Oh boy, I'm glad I didn't wait, the rod I purchased isn't even available anymore!
