Del from philly Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 whats the deal with these little snap beans??? people pay 6 bucks for panfish lures? or are they a finesse lure for bass??? Quote
deep-cranker Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Dude the snap beans are awsome for a small crankbait. They are a little hard to throw on 8 to 10 pound test line. Try using them with 6 pound test line. Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted September 26, 2007 Super User Posted September 26, 2007 My wife uses these things sometimes and you never know what she is going to catch with them. :-? Quote

Randall Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 When bass are schooling and spitting out shad like this they will work for schooling bass when almost nothing else will. Thats a shad on my finger tip and the fish it came out of hit a snap bean in the smallest size. It spit out about twenty of these in the boat and a bunch more in the water. The fish was about three or four pounds and was eating tiny shad by the mouthfull. Quote

Avalonjohn44 Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 My daughter loves the Snap Beans and the Aile Gobi (also by Yo Zuri), but I have only caught small fish on either. They are both amazing baits in small creeks though, where you expect smaller fish. Haven't tried them out for Shenandoah smallmouth yet, maybe this weekend. Quote
bobbyK Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Caught an 8" gill the other day on the big Snap Bean and while it was doing the gill spiral on the way in, a big pike took a swipe at it. Now that would have been somethin' BobbyK Quote
