Super User .dsaavedra. Posted November 15, 2007 Super User Posted November 15, 2007 avid 7ft M power F action. you guys basically know what i need (all around rod for single hook baits jigs and worms) is this a good choice? should i get it while its on sale? Quote
Jake. Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 You should just pick one before they run out of rods! Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted November 15, 2007 Author Super User Posted November 15, 2007 haha i know! just seein if its a good choice. Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted November 15, 2007 Super User Posted November 15, 2007 They will never run out of rods. If you fish around any heavy cover, I would go with nothing less then MH/F. Jigs on M power rods don't make sense to me at all, maybe M/XF with jigs 3/8oz and under might be ok. Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted November 15, 2007 Super User Posted November 15, 2007 You better jump on it before the sale ends. Ask yourself what you are going to fish most. That medium rod with a fast tip will serve you well. I fish lots of soft plastics on a med. w/ fast tip. Heavier jigs are harder but 3/8 and under will be fine. 8-) Quote
cbfishalot Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 AC70MHF now call and order your rod. Quote
cbfishalot Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Sorry the AC70MHF is not on sale the AC70MF will be fine for plastics, light jigs, senko type baits, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, topwater and lipless crankbaits. Good multi purpose rod but you better get on the phone and order one before they are gone. Quote

dbass Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 (all around rod for single hook baits jigs and worms)DaveAs a builder if you came to me and asked what should I use for a jig/t-rig rod I would say if your bank bound and fishing around a lot of over hanging trees a 6'6" MHF would do the trick. If you are fishing from a deck and can move to your target then a 7' MHF stick would do the trick.. Just my .02¢ Good Luck & Tight Lines!!!! Quote
Super User Chris at Tech Posted November 15, 2007 Super User Posted November 15, 2007 They're not on sale anymore. I was gonna grab one this morning. Crap. Quote
