When I came back from Brazil had this package on my doorstep. Bassart handles and handle bearings, as well as spool bearings for the 300TE. Bassart makes some impressive pieces! THis one's for you RW!

All I can say is wow!!! Never had my jaw dropped and hit the ground from looking at fishing reels ever.  Definitely beyond addition.  Looks like I'm going to have to search for the Bass Art web page, assuming that there is one.  Back!  Back in you cage, Bait monkey, get thee behind thy cage!!   ;D

No slip at all on the handles, they really do bring up the reel a notch or two.  I think I need a custom rod for the 300 TE now.

Nice BBS there Lubina.  What kind of rod is that thing on?   Dobyns?   :-?    Right there would be a good reel for some of you swimbait guys.  It is a TD-Z on steroids.  Tougher gears without the extra weight that usually comes with it.  Sweet reel!!
