I am looking for a new senko/jig baitcasting rod.  It is pretty much narrowed down to a Fenwick HMG 6'6" MH or a Crucial 6'6" MH as those are what I can get locally.  The Fenwick is $119, the Crucial is $129.  What would you get?  I am upgrading from a 6'6" M BPS extreme.

Which is it?  Fenwick or Falcon?  If Fenwick, both are made in China.  IMO the Shimano is a little lighter than the Fenwick.

The Shimano counter warranty is too good a deal to pass up.

I have always had good luck with both.

Too bad you can't find one of the closeout avids.  They are a great rod at full price and a steal for < $100.00

I haven't used that particular Shimano rod but do have 7 HMGs.  They are sensitive but a little heavy.

I like the Fenwicks, My friend Ron bought and uses the Crucial. The Crucial feels lighter, I like the action on the Fenwick better( Both are Med.) depends on what you lke I would say they are very comprable, but I have never used the Crucial

Fenwick, not Falcon.  I have the FTO boxes on the brain lately.  I am leaning toward the crucial.  That is what I originally was looking for until the tackle shops guys started talking up the Fenwick.
