Big-Bass Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 I have a Mossyback 803C and was wondering what other fishing techniques I could use the rod for other than worms, jigs, senkos...would this make an okay spinnerbait rod?...I tend to not like to moderate action rods and prefer the crisper fast actions. What do all of you use yours for besides the intended specific purpose. Thanks. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted October 7, 2007 Super User Posted October 7, 2007 I have an old 6' Pistol grip BPS Bionic blade IM6 pistol grip rod that's a med/fast action that I normally use for topwaters but have thrown rat-L-traps with, crankbaits and lighter, 1/4 oz spinnerbaits. My Titanium 6'9" Wacky worm special rod can also sub for a jerkbait rod. Quote
SneakySnook Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 I have the 853 and I use my for working crankbaits and rat-l-traps. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted October 8, 2007 Super User Posted October 8, 2007 I have the BCR803 GLX and I have tried using it for spinnerbaits and some crankbaits but it was overkil. Jigs and worms are were this rod is best at. Quote
