The basics are Heavy Power/ Fast Action. I prefer baitcasting gear for jig fishing, but spinning equipment is just fine. Of all your set-ups, this is the one where sensitivity comes into play the most. For specific advice, you need to set a price target to get useful responses.

How big a jig, and where do you plan on throwing it?

I prefer throwing 1/4 - 3/8 jigs on my MH baitcaster setup, Kistler MG69APC, Revo STX with 15lb Pline.  For heavier jigs or or heavier cover, I throw on my Dobyns 704C with Zillion.

I fish a Techna AV and many of the guys on this Forum are all googgly over the new Revos. So, based my own personal experience (with Fenwick) and the excellent reviews from members (Revo), I think you'll be one happy camper!

p.s. Don't tell ANYONE I recommended a Revo, especially fivebasslimit.   :;)

Most of my jig fishing is with a 7 1/2 foot falcon flipping stick, 25 pound trilene big game, and shimano castaic.  Handles every situation I come across, and can handle those pigs that bite the jigs.
