Bass1 Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 I finally got the chance to use the P-Line Halo last week. I spooled it in my Viento and used it for dropshotting. Boated at least 5 keepers with it and was quite impressed with its strength and minimal stretch. Has anyone else tried this line? Kindly post your reviews. I have only used it once so I am not able to comment more than the above observations. For the meantime it will definitely stay spooled in my Viento. My other three baitcast reels have the Yozuri Hybrid Ultra Soft spooled in them. Those will also stay as I am also satisfied with the YHUS performance in my other applications (T-rig, Deep cranks and medium cranks). Quote
Super User FishTank Posted September 16, 2007 Super User Posted September 16, 2007 I tried this stuff back in March and had nothing bad luck. I purchased two spools and both kept kinking and breaking. It might have been the cold water, I'm not sure. I went through both spools in less than two weeks. Quote
lubina Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 I use 10-12 lbs for deep cracking and sometimes with jerkbaits in baitcasters, haven't have any problems, it does sink faster than other fluoros that I have used in the past. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted September 16, 2007 Super User Posted September 16, 2007 It's good line....i just don't like the price tag on this stuff. Quote
Big-Bass Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I like my 12 lb. test...I have mine on a Revo SC matched to a 6' Falcon Expert MH. Use the rod for Senkos, small spinnerbaits, etc...very versatile and nice! Quote
