Super User Bassn Blvd Posted September 13, 2007 Super User Posted September 13, 2007 I couldn't find the Revo Premier anywhere so I logged onto BPS and ordered the SX hi speed. I'll get the Premeir in lower speed when it hits the market. Of course I had to buy another Lucky Craft Rick Clunn crankbait ($15).. And then I realized I needed a new spinner bait box so I bought that too ($12). I wont buy rods on-line or without holding them so I told the wife we were hitting Tuppens this weekeng for a new rod. She boldly told me to NEVER EVER complain about how many purses or pair of shoes she has...... Quote
Super User Micro Posted September 13, 2007 Super User Posted September 13, 2007 I hope you like your SX as much as I like mine. Quote

lubina Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I wont buy rods on-line or without holding them They only thing again this is that limited your rod selection tremendously....buy from sources that have a good return policy. Best luck with your Revo, I have the STX and I'm very satisfied with it. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted September 13, 2007 Super User Posted September 13, 2007 I absulutely love my SX. In my opinion, you won't find a better reel for $150.00. Falcon Quote
Super User David P Posted September 13, 2007 Super User Posted September 13, 2007 SX is awesome, but just out of curiosity, if you wanted the high speed, why didn't you just get the SC for $80? Practically the same, but only comes in high speed. None the less dude, the SX is a great reel I just got mine a few days ago and love it. Quote
Super User Maxximus Redneckus Posted September 13, 2007 Super User Posted September 13, 2007 You will worship this reel and sleep with it im sure IMO the best reel i have ever used OR handled Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 You will worship this reel and sleep with it That just struck me as funny, especially with your screen name. Quote

My plan is to buy the premier when it comes out in 2008 and it's only 6.4:1, I believe. I don't feel like waiting that long so I bought the SX in hi speed. As far as picking the SX over the SC, well I forgot why. I like the black color I guess.lol;;;;;;;;; Quote

I love black, my SX is on my all black rod with black handle and everything, just looks plain sexy. Red would have killed it a bit. Good enough reason for me! Quote
Super User cart7t Posted September 14, 2007 Super User Posted September 14, 2007 Wait till that black suckers been sitting on the deck for around an hour in the summer sun. Talk about a hot potato!! Quote
Super User burleytog Posted September 14, 2007 Super User Posted September 14, 2007 Wait till that black suckers been sitting on the deck for around an hour in the summer sun. Talk about a hot potato!! Black reels look nice, but therein lies the downfall. That and being hard to see at night. Quote
