Mother Theresa came to me in a vision and said you were right and I was wrong (RE: The G Loomis thread).

I continued to check into the guide issue.  I never could get an answer from All Star.  I was told by my local All Star dealer the the guides were Fuji (even said there was a Fuji tag ont he one he checked).  I found the Outdoor Life article that said they were Fuji.  And the AS ad itself just confused me further.

But since checking, I've found several OLD articles on the All Star decision to use "Titanium coated Zirconia rings" on their rods.  That would mean, as YOU said, American Tackle.

So, I apologize for being a dick and arguing with you when you knew what you were talking about and I didn't.

Speaking of Craig B., those old transcripts should be placed in some sort of BassResource Hall of Fame (or Shame, depending how you look at it). I'm sure his name will be used for years to come and all of the newer members won't have a clue who is being spoken of (Plus I think it would be funny to read those old threads again).

Yes, we all have to eat the tasty crow now and then.  I, myself . . . yes, me, Senile1, encountered a situation where I had to apologize to a respected member of our forum earlier this week, due to a private misunderstanding on my part.  I know . . . . .  it's difficult to believe that I could be wrong about anything.   ::)

It's good to see people resolve these issues in a mature manner.  All you guys need to do now is get together and swap some spit.   ;)

It takes a real man to admit when he's wrong. Congratulations for not being normal.  ;) Good job!

Like I always say, it takes a big man to cry.

....but it takes an even bigger man to laugh at him!

I have told my wife many times in the past year of being a member of BR that if our churches would behave more like this membership we would have more people doing better things in their lives and the lives they come in contact with and ultimately a better world to raise our kids.

I don't remember exacly what my original response said and have no earthly idea why it would be removed...

It went something like this...

Apology accepted. The fact that you kept looking for the answers after the thread was locked and posted about it publicly speaks volumes about your charactor. You could have left it alone and went about your business or quietly sent a PM- but you chose to post it. I have a lot of respect for that. I also owe you an apology... it takes 2 to tangle and I was a willing participant. So I am also sorry for my participation.

Sorry, the original post was much better thought out.
