Whats the majority here ? Do more people throw Baby Brush Hogs or The regular Brush hogs?

I started throwing *** Baby Brush Bug yesterday and the fish loved em. They were all pretty small(12-15 inchers),will the bigger Brush Hogs increase the size of the fish,or do you all still catch the same size fish no matter which version Brush Hog your throwing? Or is my lake just loaded with 12-15 inchers, because thats all I really EVER catch. I have caught a few 3-5 pound fish but they only come on a very rare occasion.

I usually use the Regular Brush hog.... It seems to produce alot bigger fish.

I throw mostly the babies.  The regular ones will weed out some of the small fish.  However, I would bet your pond/lake is just loaded with a lot of small fish.  Small creature baits imo are really the only small bait big bass will hit on a consistant basis in my opinion.  You don't see many people making a gigantic beaver(thats funny right there)and they are still known as  a big fish bait.  I think if you got that baby *** down if front of a hog they would eat it.  Now if your getting hit almost right away on every cast, and you think little, more agreesvie fish are eating it b4 the big ones get a chance then thats a good time to switch.

The 2 of them are my favorites in soft plastics (Green Pumkin). IMHO larger bait=larger fish. I don't mean large fish won't hit smaller baits and sometimes you have to downsize your baits to even get a bite. As mattm said the larger of the 2 seem to weed out some of the smaller fish messing with it. Fishing them in the same ponds and small lakes under pretty much same conditions, I have caught larger fish on the reg. Brush Hogs more often...

I tend to use the smaller brush hogs in ponds, or in clear water. This time of year when the weeds are thick and the water is "green" I go with the full sized ones. Sometimes I wish they made a bigger one.
