bdogfish Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Have any of you had any luck wacky rigged from shore? Just wondering if anybody fishes wack from shore with any luck. It would seem that from a overhead position would work best for this rig. Quote
Super User T-rig Posted August 23, 2007 Super User Posted August 23, 2007 I fish just about anything from shore except cranks. I actually find that you have advantages fishing from the bank in places where you know the fish are. Cast your wacky rig under overhanging trees, docks etc. it works. Quote
iminsanenutz Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 ive caught many wacky rigged from the shore Quote
Bizzo Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I do all the time for smallies in the Mississippi. Quote
fishing man Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 thats the only place i will use waky worms. find structure, i have found that weeds work best, cast right to the boundry and get ready. o and when the lure reaches the bottom bounce it, then let it sink again. Quote
bass109 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Its pretty easy to use, you dont have to make things hard. Quote

Straiten_Hooks Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 When I wacky rig from shore I like the Zoom Trick Worms because I usually parallel the bank. The trick worm seems to not sink as fast as others. Quote
