what is the deal with berkely bionix

hey what is with the bionix rods i really like them and was going to buy another but i cant find them on berkelys web site i do find them at wal - mart when i am lucky but wondering why berkely dont advertise them

Could it be an older model?, I know stores like wal-mart/canadian tire(for us canadians:P) tend to carry older models of reels and rods.

i dont think they are older  because every once in awhile wally world wil get a new shipment in

Walmart carries rods that no one else has. I once bought some Ugly Stick Intercoastals there, they still sell them but you can't find any info on Ugly Sticks website.
