I just picked up some GLoomis rods and wow.  I dont know if I'll ever look back.  I did pick up a St. Croix Legend Tournament rod and it is sweet too, but man the GLoomis!

There is a problem though.  I need about 8 more GLoomis.  The wife will not be happy.

I started the year with 0 G Loomis rods.  I now have 6 and am looking at buying more (these things are unreal).  My girlfriend thinks I have a disorder.  She did buy me a G Loomis hat and a gift card to Cabelas (which will be used on another rod) for my birthday, so maybe she is warming up to my condition.

Welcome to the dark side! ..lol

My two favorites:

MBR844C & PR844S.

My next G.Loomis will be a PR844C which will replace a St. Croix as my "all-around" baitcaster.

I believe if I had 10 MBR844c's I would want more....................Al

i BOUGHT A 738C IMX I THINK THATS THE MODEL BUT I PAID $20 FOR IT AT A YARDSALE.  THE FIRST 6.5 INCHES ARE SNAPED OFF. MY FRIEND TOLD ME TO LOOK AT THE WARRENTY PROGRAM.  SO I FOUND THAT THEY HAVE AN EXPODITOR SERVICE NO ?'S ASKED TELL THEM WHAT ROD YOU BROKE AND PAY 50 BUCKS AND THEY SEND YOU A NEW ROD AND THE GIVE YOU THE STUFF TO SHIP THE BROKEN ROD BACK. SO THATS A $235 ROD FOR $70. GOOD FIND OR WHAT? NOW I NEED A BAITCASTER!

I have four of them now and I am still blown away by the sensitivity and power.  I hope a new Senko rod  (BCR893 or 864) might be in the future but I'll just have to wait and see.

But so far, I have a MBR783 GLX, BCR803 GLX, MBR844C IMX and a SMR753S-SP Bronzeback.
