I am going to be in Plymouth, MA this week. Does anyone know if the Megabass office in Conway, MA have a storefront where you can buy items? I am wanting to buy a Destroyer rod, but I don't want to order blindly without a test-drive. I may not even like them. Hate to pull the trigger on a $400 rod without knowing how it feels. Thanks

I might add that the marketing for Megabass is pretty bad. They have a website and suggest you speak with a retailer about their items, but they have no search engine to find a dealer. I spoke with them about becoming a supplier, as items are pretty hard to find, and still might consider it.

You can order direct from them, all you need is to ask for the stock list.

Just some FYI that you might want to consider is that their rods have no warranty. Yes, I know it states they have a 1 year warranty, but it is very limited and it gets left up to them as far as what is covered and what isn't. And you will have to pay shipping both ways!  >:)

Yeah, check TackleTour for Megabass.  Several folks have had less than desirable experiences with them lately...almost all Megabass USA, and not Japan.

I have a few of them that I bought from MegabassUSA and a couple that I bought used from a couple of guys at Tackle Tour.  I treat my rods more roughly than anyone.  There are no rod lockers on my little boat and when not lying on the plastic boat, they are stacked inside my truck.  I have had no defects in any of them and they will land a Bass or two :).  Having said that, yes, there have been some guys that have had them break and have had some trouble getting them replaced but if I remember correctly, all but maybe one(?) were replaced by MBUSA.
